Brighter Future Through Learning
Think Malawi is a UK-registered charity (no. 1141352), founded in 2011, that funds education projects for children and young people in Malawi.
We're run by trustees and volunteers, so over 90% of every donation goes directly to the education projects we support in Malawi.
Our mission
We believe every child in Malawi should be able to go to school, stay in school, and learn. We work hand in hand with education projects in Malawi to put donations where they'll make the biggest difference for the children and young people they serve.
What we fund
Over the years we have funded:

Textbooks and learning materials, so pupils have what they need to learn

Classroom construction, creating safe places to study

A school feeding programme, helping children concentrate and stay in class

School water and sanitation projects, giving schools clean water and proper facilities

Teacher training, improving the quality of teaching in the classroom
Each of these is funded through our Grants programme.
Her Education Matters
In Malawi, girls can miss up to five days of school every month when they have their periods and can't manage them safely at school. Over a school year, that adds up to weeks of lost learning.
Her Education Matters tackles this directly. We provide reusable sanitary pads and build private changing rooms at school, so girls can stay in class and keep learning.
