Marking Menstrual Hygiene Day with Her Education Matters

Think Malawi is proud to be supporting Menstrual Hygiene Day (Tuesday, 28 May) through our Her Education Matters project, in partnership with Africa Vision Malawi.

We believe strongly in the vision for Menstrual Hygiene Day's vision, which is:

To create a world in which every woman and girl is empowered to manage her menstruation safely, hygienically, with confidence and without shame, where no woman or girl is limited by something as natural and normal as her period.

Her Education Matters is seeking to do just that in Malawi. With your help, we can enable 900 girls to have reusable sanitary pads plus changing rooms at school, to enable them to attend school when they have their periods. Find out more about our Her Education Matters here.

If you would like to make a real and last difference in the menstrual hygiene of over 900 girls, please donate on our Crowdfunder page at:

Or sponsor our trustee Asif’s triathlon on Virgin Money Giving:

Thank you for showing that Her Education Matters and supporting #MHDAY2019!

Our support for educational projects, which help children in Malawi to fulfill their potential, is made possible by our regular donors. Please consider becoming a regular donor yourself, and join our community.
