Marking Menstrual Hygiene Day with Her Education Matters


Think Malawi is proud to be supporting Menstrual Hygiene Day (Tuesday, 28 May) through our Her Education Matters project, in partnership with Africa Vision Malawi.


We believe strongly in the vision for Menstrual Hygiene Day's vision, which is:

To create a world in which every woman and girl is empowered to manage her menstruation safely, hygienically, with confidence and without shame, where no woman or girl is limited by something as natural and normal as her period.


Her Education Matters is seeking to do just that in Malawi. With your help, we can enable 900 girls to have reusable sanitary pads plus changing rooms at school, to enable them to attend school when they have their periods. Find out more about our Her Education Matters here.
