The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind Special Film Screening on 7 March at 6:45pm

We're delighted to be hosting a free screening of the new Netflix-produced film, The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind, directed by and starring Oscar nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor (Twelve Years a Slave, Doctor Strange). The event will feature a special introduction from Dick Pope, the film’s BAFTA and Academy Award nominated cinematographer.

About the Film

Inspired by a science book, 13-year-old William Kamkwamba builds a home-made wind turbine against all the odds, to save his Malawian village from famine. An inspiring true story adapted from the book written by William Kamkwamba and Bryan Mealer.



The film is a PG certificate.
